Kargil Vijay Diwas - India's triumph of ‘toughest war’
Kargil Day is celebrated in India to commemorate the sacrifices made by Army personnel during the Kargil War. Army proclaimed a victorious conclusion to Operation Vijay on July 26, claiming 1999 victory after nearly 3 months of fighting on the snowy heights of Kargil.
In order to mark India's victory and remember the heroes who put nation first, Ashoka Universal School, Off Gangapur Road Campus arranged for a special online assembly. The Educators prepared the students of Grade VI-XII, who presented patriotic poems, dances, video presentations and inspiring speeches. An immense feeling of patriotism spread as the assembly was filled with soulful slogans led out by the students.
The students wore army uniforms and traditional dresses to pay tribute and celebrate the day with utmost sincerity.
