Janmashtami Celebration 2019

Janmashtami is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna. Janmashtami signifies the end of all darkness and eradication of evil from the earth. The festival of Janmashtami encourages goodwill and as a scared occasion that celebrates togetherness and faith.
Culture Education is an essential aspect of the curriculum. Understanding the importance of glorifying Indian tradition with young generation, Ashoka Universal School celebrated Janmashtami.
The significance of the festival was briefed by the educators. "Importance of Karma" - one of the preaching of Lord Krishna was presented through a skit by the sparkling students of our school. To inculcate and enhance the importance of team work "Dahi Handi"(pot of butter and curd) was broken by our student.
This holy occasion was thoroughly enjoyed by our students.
