Rakshabandhan & Sharing Day Celebration
Rakshabandhan is one of the oldest and most celebrated traditions of Indian culture. We always try to explain the concept of the deep rooted ethos and tradition behind every festival at Ashoka Global preschool rather than simply demonstrate the festivity involved in it.
With this objective in a view, we explained Rakshabandhan to our kids in a very literal and interesting way. Rakshabandhan is not just limited to siblings promising protection and care to one another. It goes beyond that. At Ashoka Global preschool, we teach our students to celebrate this special festival in its true essence by tying a Rakhi to anyone who protects you and cares for you.
Hence, our students tied rakhis to the security guards of our campus, the didi’s, aunties and bhaiyas who take care of their every comfort, and teachers who love them as mothers.
The security guards, the support staff and the educators were thrilled to receive this honour from the kids. The entire campus was wrapped in festivities and décor.
Sharing day was also celebrated on this occasion. All the students got lunch tiffin boxes from home and shared their home-made delicacies happily with their friends, and educators.
