Ashoka Universal School Astronomical Observatory is a mind boggling initiative, first of its kind, in Nashik, which introduces the students of Ashoka Junior College to a world full of astronomical possibilities. Activities like sky gazing, DIY activities, public out-reach programs, astronomical awareness in the society, research projects for the students, career talks on Astronomy, national-international speaker talks etc. are conducted.

Keeping this is in mind, we at Ashoka Junior College make safety and security our utmost priority. We along with parents, teachers and experts conduct various workshops on safety and security of our students.
One of the biggest innovations of the 21st century is the intersection of Biology and Biotechnology, which indeed is the beginning of a new era. Ashoka Junior College is the only college in Nashik to provide biotechnology as a subject at High School level. We boast of a equipped Biotechnology lab for practical and experiential learning approach.

With an aim to bring the practical world of Commerce and Business in the classroom, our well equipped and resourceful Commerce Lab encourages learners to participate in discussions on share market, live budget sessions, sessions on taxation and law, software accounting workshop and various other activities.

Understanding this thought we at Ashoka Junior College, have a well conditioned video conference room for the purpose of video lectures by Guest speakers, Career Counselors and various Subject experts who can pitch light on our young learners’ minds. The room is sound proof allowing two way conversation amongst the audience and the speaker, thus encouraging maximum student participation.
Science laboratories (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) nurture scientific temperament and quench curiosity. Students are given the opportunity to work in the lab as much as possible to strengthen and understand scientific concepts better.
