International Mud Day Celebration 2019 - 20
The creators of International Mud Day wanted to find a way to help all of the children of the Earth feel closer to each other…and the best way is to do it was with mud itself. Every year on June 29th, International Mud Day celebrations happen all over the world as a way to connect children to the Earth and soil, and discover the joy that is comes from playing in and with mud. Students of Ashoka Universal School, Sinnar Pre Primary and grades I & II celebrated MUD DAY today. It’s a simple way to bring the children “Hands on Nature”. Wet mud contains microscopic bacteria called Mycobacterium vaccae that can boost the immune system. Researchers have also proved that children who are connected to mud in their early lives are able to tolerate allergies easily.
